Best Award winning softwares for iPhone, iPad and Mac

A lot of innovative softwares are available for iPhone, iPad and Mac that are awarded in 2011 Apple’s developer Conference. Mac applications were acknowledged this year again and awards were given for extraordinary quality softwares in the areas of design, innovation and technical excellence. All software for the iPhone, iPad and Mac had a requirement of being available on the platforms’ respective App Stores.

iPhone winners of 2011 were:

  • Golfscape GPS
  • Infinity Blade
  • Cut the Rope

Mac winners were:

  • Anomaly Warzone Earth
  • Capo
  • Pixelmator

In WWDC of 2010, only ten applications were honored in the iOS-only awards, Nominations for the annual awards are accepted through Apple’s website by members of the company’s developer programs.

The Financial Times just informed a new Web application made to bypass Apple’s officially approved App Store. By offering its product in HTML5 through the Safari Web browser, the publication will be able to avoid paying Apple a 30 percent cut of revenue for subscriptions through the App Store.

iOS 5 Calendar; Brings Real Improvements

With iCloud connectivity and the quality to add calendars directly on iOS devices, updates to the endamic Calendar application in Apple’s iOS 5 will play a dominant role in the company’s PC-free push.

Now, with iOS 5, users will be able to add, rename and delete calenders directly from an iPhone or iPad. Before this Apple’s IOS 5 devices, these activities required attachment to a PC with USB. You can also view event attachments from directly within calendar without any need to switch to another application to view colligated content.

One leading new characteristic of the iOS 5 updated calendar is default alert times. This feature would be helpful in reminding you about the important events automatically for each event you create; now there is no need to change settings and add alarms for every new event. The new Calendar software also permits users to set different default alarms for different types of events. With this, custom settings can be changed for event categories such as birthdays, regular events and all-day events.

iCloud is the easy way to access just about everything on all your devices. It stores your content and is always approachable from your iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Mac, or PC. The beta version of iCloud is already built in to iTunes Store. It lets you view apps and songs you have already downloaded or purchased and add them to your device. If you download an app for your iPad, you can download it to your iPhone from iCloud without having to sync to your computer. The same procedure is for the music too.

Easy Way to Delete iPhone Messages

So if you wish to delete your iPhone messages, an easy procedure is given below. But remember that there is no way of getting the deleted messages back. There are two types of messages that can be deleted; conversations and individual messages.

Deleting Conversations from iPhone:

If you want to delete a conversation message, a simple and easy procedure is available here.

1) Go into messages app.

2) Open the particular conversation which you want to delete by tapping the arrow at the upper left.

3) Now, tap edit option at the upper right.

4) Tap the red button present at the left; here you will see a delete button on the right.

5) Tap the delete button to remove the entire conversation.

Deleting Individual messages from iPhone:

To delete individual messages from an iPhone is quite easy and simple. You just need to go into any conversation then follow the following procedure.

1) Tap the edit icon here; as a result, an empty check circle will appear along each message.

2) Select the message which you want to delete.

3) Tap delete button that is present at the bottom left.

If you do not want to delete any message and were just checking the procedure, press done instead of delete button.
