iOS 5 Calendar; Brings Real Improvements

With iCloud connectivity and the quality to add calendars directly on iOS devices, updates to the endamic Calendar application in Apple’s iOS 5 will play a dominant role in the company’s PC-free push.

iOS 5 Calendar

Now, with iOS 5, users will be able to add, rename and delete calenders directly from an iPhone or iPad. Before this Apple’s IOS 5 devices, these activities required attachment to a PC with USB. You can also view event attachments from directly within calendar without any need to switch to another application to view colligated content.

One leading new characteristic of the iOS 5 updated calendar is default alert times. This feature would be helpful in reminding you about the important events automatically for each event you create; now there is no need to change settings and add alarms for every new event. The new Calendar software also permits users to set different default alarms for different types of events. With this, custom settings can be changed for event categories such as birthdays, regular events and all-day events.
